Instrumental Teachers

This study is currently seeking participants to form part of a control group and can only accomodate a limited number of teachers and students. To learn more about the program and research study please read the teacher explanatory statement and program overview. If you are interested in participating in this study with your students in Term 1, 2019 please contact Anneliese to register your interest.

Please note: The control group will be required to complete the pre- and post-surveys and solo performance assessments but will just continue with their normal music curriculum throughout the period of the research study. Teachers (and their students) assigned to the control condition will receive access to the online program once the research study has concluded.

HOW DO I TAKE PART?

To be eligible to participate you must live in Melbourne (or within travelling distance to The University of Melbourne, Southbank campus), have a minimum of 3 years studio-teaching experience, currently teach secondary-school age students (12-18yrs) and have at least one student willing to participate with parental consent.

The timeline for this opportunity is very tight as the paperwork must be completed by December, 2018 to enable the research to begin in Term 1. If you would like to be involved in this research please indicate that you have read and understood the information contained in the explanatory statement by completing this consent form and returning it (along with the signed parental consent forms) by email to Anneliese.
