This study is currently seeking participants (year 11 and 12 music students completing VCE music units 1-4) to form part of a control group and can only accomodate a limited number of schools. To learn more about the program and research study please read the teacher explanatory statement and program overview. If you are interested in participating in this study with your students in Term 1, 2019 please contact Anneliese.
Please note: The control group will be required to complete the pre- and post-surveys and solo performance assessments but will just continue with their normal music curriculum throughout the period of the research study. Teachers (and their students) assigned to the control condition will receive access to the online program once the research study has concluded.
HOW DO I TAKE PART?
To be eligible to participate your school must be located within 50km of Melbourne. You must also have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, currently teach secondary-school age students and have at least 8 students within your music class completing VCE music units 1-4 willing to participate with parental consent.
The timeline for this opportunity is very tight as paperwork must be completed by December, 2018 to enable the research to begin in Term 1, 2019. If you would like to be involved in this study please contact Anneliese to register your interest and discuss the program further
